Did Cmt Drop Dcc?

In recent years, Country Music Television (CMT) has been on a bit of a hot streak. The network has produced some of the most popular and acclaimed reality shows on television, including “Duck Dynasty” and “Party Down South.” However, it appears that CMT’s latest venture, “The DCC,” may have fizzled out before it even really got started.

For those who are unfamiliar, “The DCC” was a reality show that followed the lives of eight young women who were part of Nashville’s dance community. The show was set to premiere in early 2016, but it seems that CMT has quietly shelved the project. There is no official word from CMT about why “The DCC” was never aired, but there are several theories floating around.

One possibility is that the network felt that the show was too similar to another one of its hits, “Nashville.” Another theory is that CMT simply couldn’t find an audience for the show. Whatever the reason, it looks like fans of country music and reality TV will have to wait a little while longer for another dose of drama from CMT.
